DBS continues to grow and build on its reputation as Irelands leading independent college. July 2007 saw the Colleges acquisition of Portobello College. The amalgamation of the two institutions creates Ireland's largest independent third level institution with a student population of more than 9,000 and an ability to deliver over 100 accredited programmes. DBS also has a number of non-accredited programmes on offer that have been designed in conjunction with industry.
