Holy Trinity National School
It gives me, James Tobin, Principal, great pleasure to welcome you to the website of Holy Trinity National School. The school has a staff complement of 37. Currently, we have an enrolment of 517 boys and girls catering for the needs of families living in the parish area of Sandyford. The school was established in 2005. First opening its door in the parish rooms in St Mary’s Church Sandyford on September 1st 2005 by our founder and first chairperson Fr. Eamann Cahill (parish priest of Sandyford 2001 - 2010). I, James Tobin, was appointed as Principal. On March 31st 2006, the school moved to a three unit prefab unit on the site of the permanent school building. After a long wait the building of our permanent school commenced on July 8th 2013. December 2014, saw the end of a rewarding and challenging two-year period in the life of our school community which had seen the completion of our brand new state of the art school building. A building of this grandeur is only fitting for our high standards of academia, behavior organisation, teaching and learning. Our school offers a broad curriculum and, as a staff, we strive to provide opportunities where the talents and gifts of each pupil can be unearthed and nurtured. Consequently there is a strong tradition of music and drama in the school and our objective is that each child has the opportunity to perform during their time with us. I have always been mindful of the need to continue developing and maintaining a strong school community. This is a key element of our success. Holy Trinity NS is under the patronage of the Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin and enjoys the support of the Sandyford Parish Pastoral Team when preparing children for sacraments. The School also receives great support and advice from the Education Secretariat of the Archdiocese. Is Mise la Meas James Tobin
