Spend time with your kids.
I couldn’t emphasize it much better but spend time with your kids.
Don’t neglect them and say to yourself that you are too busy with work. Work is always there. Your kids won’t stay young forever. They grow up every day. Don’t wait for the day when you will regret that you didn’t spend enough time to be close with them.
If you haven’t been spending quality time with your kids, it’s time to start doing it now. I’m telling you, your kids need your attention, your kids need some of your time. Why not take even just 20 minutes off every week to be with them? Talk to them, play with them, teach them something.
As a parent, I don’t limit myself to just spend time with my kids for just 20 minutes. I spend time with them as much as I can. I teach them and do classical agile learning with them. But I’m not really an expert here. I am here to share my experience with you.
I understand though that everyone is busy. We all move at our own pace. And yes, you can spend time away from your kids and that’s healthy. Spend time for yourself, spend time with your partner and most importantly, spend time with your kids.
